As part of the RARE-bestpractices project (www.rarebestpractices.eu), an international course was held for health care guidelines developers on treatments for rare diseases, with the collaboration of experts in the methodology for the production of guidelines. It took place at the Mario Negri Institute in Milan, from 10th to 12th February 2016. Twenty-eight participants gathered, including doctors, researchers and patients'representatives from Europe and Canada. The course was much appreciated.
A second course is already in preparation. It will be held in 2016 and will focus on the methodology for the production of guidelines for the diagnosis of a rare disease. More details soon available here at cochrane.it.
