Associazione Alessandro Liberati – Cochrane Affiliate Centre 

Associazione Alessandro Liberati – Cochrane Affiliate Centre is non-profit organization and pursues social solidarity purposes. Its main objectives are to carry out the following activities in the field of social and healthcare:

  • Promote Cochrane's activities in Italy and Europe, with particular reference to the culture of evidence-based medicine.
  • Promote initiatives aimed at deepening the ethical and social implications of choices in the field of health and social care policies.
  • Interact with the health authorities and regional and national agencies responsible for promoting innovation and quality of care in the Italian National Health Service.
  • Conduct research and training activities, also in collaboration with universities, and update methodologies for evaluating the effectiveness and quality of healthcare interventions.
  • Promote training and development initiatives on critical evaluation of the quality of scientific literature.
  • Launch initiatives aimed at stimulating the active involvement of citizens and their associations in promoting and acquiring a critical attitude towards the use of health and social services.
  • Experiment with innovative initiatives for the dissemination and dissemination of research results on the effectiveness of health and social care interventions, aimed at healthcare professionals and the general population.

Cochrane Affiliate Centre Emilia-Romagna

The Emilia-Romagna Cochrane Affiliate Centre was officially recognized on October 16, 2019, and operates in collaboration with the Italian Cochrane Centre, the two Review Groups based in Italy, and the Neurological Field to facilitate the dissemination and use of Cochrane resources in a knowledge translation perspective. The Centre is involved in the design and implementation of various priority setting exercises, focusing on the different knowledge translation activities.
